During your pregnancy, the best thing you can do to have a healthy mommy and baby is to have and maintain a good nutritious diet. This will help you with the extra demands that the body will require as your pregnancy progresses.  Do you know which Vitamins can be found in which foods and  how do these vitamins affect your pregnancy? A- Helps with fetal bones, teeth, skin and eyesight. Foods are fortified milk, breakfast cereal,fatty fish (Salmon)

B- Cannot be found in prenatal vitamins- you get it from your diet. Chicken, beets, eggs, milk, soy products and peanuts.

C- Helps with immune system, strong bones and muscles. Foods are Citrus fruits, prenatal vitamins, strawberries, broccoli and tomatoes.

D-Used by your body to make extra blood for you and your fetus. Found in prenatal vitamins, eat foods rich in iron, beans, lentils, beef, turkey, liver, oranges, grapefruit, broccoli.
