The Birthing Center of NY – the BEST choice I made

I chose to begin my pregnancy journey as a first time mom with The Birthing Center, and it was the BEST choice I made. Each staff member was just as pleasant as the last, it felt like home. I took the classes with Nurse Jackie, and not only is she Hilarious but she keeps you well informed on what to expect. I also had Amanda as my Doula, and she was nothing short of Amazing. If you appreciate honesty with a smile, Dr. Eng is your go-to! My labor with her was flawless. I am so grateful to all involved, and look forward to our next journey together!

Nurse Jackie made the CPR class it interesting and fun

My wife and I took the CPR class with Nurse Jackie and were quite pleased. Not only was it very informative and hands-on, Nurse Jackie made it interesting and fun. We left the class with a much better understanding of the proper CPR procedures and the comfort of having that knowledge should the situation arise where we would need to step up and assist someone in distress.

Nurse Jackie makes the class very lively with fun exercises

We took the 5 hour birthing class with Nurse Jackie and it was a lot of fun, as well as informative.

Nurse Jackie makes the class very lively with fun exercises, informative videos and many role plays. With 3 other couples, the atmosphere was very relaxing and intimate. Nurse Jackie also answered all of our questions we had. We would definitely take this class again and would recommend it to anyone preparing for their first baby.

My boyfriend and I took the childbirth classes and I left feeling so educated and confident. Nurse Jackie is over qualified and makes the class very fun…it was very interactive through all stages especially the ones first time mothers worry most about like contractions and breastfeeding. Thank you NY Birthing Center for taking care of us. I’d recommend this class for anyone who wants all the important information and to have fun at the same time!

Where to begin…my husband and I were on the fence about taking a class in general but once we met nurse Jackie we absolutely knew we had to take her class. She is super knowledgeable and has all the answers to get you ready for baby. I did a natural unmedicated birth and it would not have been possible without nurse Jackie. My husband really soaked in all the tools she provided us and was able to keep me calm and guided my breathing throughout labor. I highly recommend you take this course completely worth every penny. She even offered phone support during labor. Thank you a million times over Nurse Jackie.i

Nurse Jackie is an angel

Nurse Jackie is an angel. She taught us so much during her class but her connection and dedication did not end there. We were able to text her a variety of questions, even after our baby was born, which she answered thoroughly and honestly. She took it upon herself to follow up with me to check on me and how our baby was doing. Nurse Jackie is such an amazing wealth of knowledge and a fantastic resource for new moms!

Nurse Jackie went above and beyond any expectations

Nurse Jackie went above and beyond any expectations we could have possibly had. My husband and I were lucky to have a one-on-one birthing class with her and we were left feeling much more informed and prepared. She is funny, kind, and knowledgeable and her class shows it. She’s perfected the experience for all couples so that it is very informative, but also enjoyable. She was also very willing to answer any questions we had and make sure we understood. This is my first pregnancy and the thought of giving birth soon can be scary, but Nurse Jackie made my husband and I feel much better and more in control of what is to come. We absolutely loved our time with her and we’re so appreciative of what we’ve gained by attending! We will definitely return for more.
